I will say that I wondered what they would do with all this pink if she turned out to be a boy. I breathed a big sigh of relief when she was born and was indeed a girl.
Maha and Liselle are doing so well that they got to come home today! Barry and I visited them this morning at the hospital and they both had a good night and were bright eyed and happy. I just love her beautiful smile! Grandpa Barry got to hold her for a while and his smile was as big as Maha's! And then it was my turn! What a cuddlebug Liselle is! They both got a good check up and got ready to go home. Getting little Liselle in the car seat was harder than they thought! Don't worry mom and dad, she will grow into it before you know it! Grandma Susan and Grandpa Jim carried her out. She slept through the whole thing, but everyone else was pretty excited! When Liselle got home, Dan and Maha's dogs got to meet her. First Kira came to see the new family member. She was so gentle with Liselle, I know she is going to be the protective one. Then it was Conrad's turn. He came over and gave her a sniff, then went to lay down. He's the more low key dog. He'll be the big floppy teddy bear dog she will lay on when she's two. Kira came over for another sniff, I love this picture! As long as Liselle was sleeping through everything, Maha and Dan introduced her to her new room. Yes, she will get to know the changing table very well. And of course, her crib. She looks so tiny in there! I will say that I wondered what they would do with all this pink if she turned out to be a boy. I breathed a big sigh of relief when she was born and was indeed a girl. And a sweet bassinette for a sweet baby girl. Her cousins came over to see what all the hoopla was about. Yup, Noah is going to show her all the ropes. Good job, Noah! Dan and Maha couldn't be happier. What a great addition to their family. Welcome home, Liselle Mira, we've been waiting a long time for you!

What a great day. First day home, and sleeping all bundled up. So many smiles all around. Noah is darling holding his little cousin.
